Spring Exhibition 2019
This year's Spring Exhibition was held at Ripley Town Hall on 25th - 27th May and was opened by the Mayor of Harrogate.
36 artists entered a total of 200 framed paintings and 59 mounted entries.
Of these 26 Framed and 12 mounted were sold which is a tremendous result considering the variable weather over the weekend.
The Mayor awarded his choice for the best painting in the Yorkshire Buildings Special Category to Elizabeth Noble for her painting "The Temple Of Fame".
Sir Thomas Ingleby awarded the Ron Smith Cup to Julie Buckley for her painting "Child's Eye View"
Guest Artist Kim Coley awarded the Artists Choice Trophy to Helen Cassidy for her painting "South Bank Panorama".
Finally at the close of the exhibition the People's Choice Trophy was presented toChristain Bailey by Chris Dicken, our Chairman, for his pen and ink drawing "Horse 01".
Autumn Exhibition November 2019
Our next exhibition will again be at Ripley Town Hall on 23rd & 24th November 2019.
Doors are open from 10am until 5pm and entry is free.
This year we have nearly 200 framed paintings and a large number of mounted entries and postcards.
Most of the items are for sale.
Each year we hold two exhibitions at Ripley Town Hall. One in the spring and the other in the autumn.
These exhibitions give members the opportunity to showcase their framed paintings, unframed mounted pictures, limited edition prints and greetings cards. Admission is free and most of the works on display are for sale
