Autumn Exhibition November 2017
This year's Autumn Exhibition will be held on 25th-26th November at Ripley Town Hall.
We will have 190 framed paintings on display, most of which are for sale, along with other unframed works and greetings cards.
The exhibition will be formally opened by our patron Sir Thomas Ingilby.
Our Judge for the Artists Choice Trophy this Autumn will be John Harrison.
Each year we hold two exhibitions at Ripley Town Hall. One in the spring and the other in the autumn. Club members entering a painting in the spring have the chance of winning one of three trophies, the Ron Smith Cup, the Ackrill Trophy, and the Avant Art Prize for the People's Choice of painting. For the Autumn Exhibition we have the Artists Choice tropy and a prize for the people's choice of painting.
These exhibitions give members the opportunity to showcase their framed paintings, unframed mounted pictures, limited edition prints and greetings cards. Admission is free and most of the works on display are for sale.
