Our Spring Exhibition was held at Ripley Town Hall

Exhibitions
Each year we hold two exhibitions at Ripley Town Hall. One in the spring and the other in the autumn. These exhibitions give members the opportunity to showcase their framed paintings, unframed mounted pictures, limited edition prints and greetings cards. Admission is free and most of the works on display are for sale.

Spring Exhibition May 2025

The Spring Exhibition took place at Ripley Town Hall on the weekend of 3rd - 5th November. Artists were allowed 8 framed pictures and 8 mounted ones and over 180 framed entries were on display. Once again this was a very good number of entries which made for an excellent exhibition. A big thank you goes to all the artists who participated for making such an effort. We had excellent weather over the weekend resulting in a lot of visitors. 20 framed paintings were sold along with numerous unframed entries and cards.

Awards:

Both the Ron Smith Cup and the Acrill Trophy were won by Helen Cassidy for her painting “Wysteria”.

The Chairman’s Choice Trophy was won by Rod Birchall for his painting “Brainwaves”.

The People’s Choice trophy was won by Christopher Noble for his painting “Into The Woods”.
