Club Nights:
The club meets on Thursday evenings between 7 and 9 p.m. from the first Thursday in September running through to the last Thursday in June. We have a structured programme of activities throughout the year including: demonstrations, life models, still life, workshops, talks and slide shows. In the summer we have a number of 'plein air' sessions. New members of all abilities are welcome with no prerequisites just a love of painting. It's a great way to further your interest in art and also to make new friends.

A Brief History:
The Harrogate and Nidderdale Art Club was founded in 1936 by thirteen artists calling themselves the 'Harrogate Group of Artists'. Then in 1948 its name changed to the 'Nidderdale Art Club'. The club has grown and developed ever since and is now known as the 'Harrogate and Nidderdale Art Club', and boasts nearly 100 members and has Sir Thomas Ingilby of Ripley Castle as its patron.

The ages of club members run the full range, and levels of expertise run from novice to professional. The club prides itself in its heritage, but affords itself the opportunity to relish all that is modern as well.

The Harrogate and Nidderdale Art Club is a private company, limited by guarantee, and registered in England and Wales (registered number7429919).  Its registered office is 19, Cookridge Street, Leeds LS2 3AG.
